Breath Awareness – September 2019

In this meditation we will follow the breath and notice how it naturally ebbs and flows. First we start by settling the body, weight evenly distributed for support and trunk, neck and head aligned for maximum comfort and stillness. This practice follows the breath at the nostrils and all the fascinating variations that might be felt or sense there. Of course, please focus your breath on any other parts of the body that best support your practice. We notice those moments of stillness, however fleeting, in the natural pauses before after breathing out and before breathing in again. The breath can be such a rich source of support and information. Towards the end, space is given to explore any personal intentions, in the form of words, visualisation or felt sense.
