Can we fit deep relaxation into our day?

Relaxation Sessions – small group sessions (4-15 people) or one-to-one for students and teachers, business, and community groups, or individual sessions available.  Rest on mat while guided into relaxation. Participants are guided as they are led to relax parts of the body, the breath and the mind through listening to instructions while remaining still on the floor or chair.

Individual sessions available in Meditation and Relaxation on request.

Current group Meditation & Deep Relaxation classes run at Colac Neighbourhood House (Thursdays). Term bookings for classes are encouraged but casual sessions are also available. See Current Classes.

 

Guided relaxations, meditation/visualisation can help us in a variety of ways including:meditate_beach_web

  • physical and mental relaxation
  • stress reduction
  •  improved work/study skills
  • concentration
  • goal setting

These group sessions combine creative arts, experiential, educational and relaxation principles from different sources.  A creative arts (drawing, writing and other responses) component can also be delivered in these sessions.
